Icon, Christ The Teacher, pattern for loom or peyote
In 1916 my Mom was in first grade where they had a contest. She won
first place and the prize was this Icon. It is made of embossed metal
with painted face and hands, mounted on wood and backed with a rich red
velvet fabric. Now over the years since then it has suffered some dings
and things but I think it still makes a wonderful subject.
I have made patterns in different formats and they are all described below.
These are made with all matte finish beads except for number 4 which will have some beads with a shiny finish included.
